President Donald Trump announced on Monday that he would forgive an ex -Virginia Xerife convicted of having taken over $ 75,000 in bribes in exchange for appointing entrepreneurs as auxiliary deputies within his department.

In a social place of truth, Trump said that Scott Howard Jenkins, 53, of Culceper, Virginia, is supposed to have to report in prison on Tuesday, but “instead he will have a wonderful and productive life.”

Jenkins, the former County of County, was convicted of a conspiracy count last year, four accusations of honored service fraud and seven border counts on federal programs. He was sentenced in March to 10 years in prison.

In his post, Trump said that ex -Xerife and his wife have been “dragged by hell by a corrupt and armed justice department”.

“In fact, during his judgment, when Xerif Jenkins tried to provide exculparytings to support him, Biden Judge Robert Ballou refused to allow him, closing him and then he went to a Tirade,” Trump wrote. “As we have seen, in federal courts, of the city and the state, the left or liberal radical judges allow to test what they feel, not what is obliged to the constitution and the rules of the evidence.”

“This Xerife is the victim of a Biden Justice Department and does not deserve to spend a single day in prison,” he added. “He is a wonderful person, who was persecuted by the radical left” monsters “and” who died. “

The federal prosecutors claimed that Jenkins accepted savorns and cash in the form of campaign contributions from the co-accused Rick Rahim, Fredric Gumbinner and James Metcalf, as well as at least five, including two FBI covert agents.

In return, Jenkins designated the people who paid the bribes as auxiliary attached sheriffs, a sworn position of the law, and issued them official badge and credentials of the Sheriff of the County of Culceper.

None of the payers were formed or reviewed and did not provide any legitimate service to the Xerife office, according to prosecutors.

“I really believe if I could have an hour of time with someone from the administration and present some facts with my lawyer and I think if they could hear the other side that I could not put in front of the jury, I think the President,” he said during a webinar hosted by the Constitutional Association of Sheriffs and Peace Officers. “I think if I listen to the information, I know I would help if I knew my story.”
